Northvolt's stellar Engineering team in Skellefteå has exciting opportunities for three Engineering Managers to join our mission.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The Engineering Managers will be in charge of our Engineering Teams in Northvolt ETT based in Skellefteå, Sweden. As a leader of the unit you will have the opportunity to build a competent and dependable team from scratch and scale Northvolt’s operations in Sweden and beyond.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Contributing to strategic planning and decision-making so that the technology strategy is aligned with the long-term vision, mission, and objectives of the organization
- Overseeing the technology budget in own area and monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities
- Having full people managerial responsibility for a team of 8-10 engineers
- Ensuring excellent working processes in your own department and doing continuous work to develop & grow your team members
- Responsibility of equipment engineering throughout manufacturing, commissioning & production ramp-up

The person we are looking for is an experienced leader with strong organisational skills from an ever changing environment. You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the results of your work.

Education/Experience

- Master of science in mechanical/industrial/electrical/electrochemical engineering
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Experience in automotive standards like PPAP
- Background in the automotive industry is a big plus
