The Engineering Manager heads a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, guiding and coaching them, and developing their skills and knowledge.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive team performance to ensure that all requirements are meet and customer expectations are exceeded, with a focus on safety, on-time delivery, quality, and improved margins.


Your responsibilities
Working closely with customers to shape and deliver technical solutions, and utilize feedback to deliver improvements and maintain customer satisfaction.
Ensuring that the engineering team is adequately resourced and equipped, including formulating plans and allocating resources.
Overseeing the completion of risk and opportunity assessments and implementing the resulting actions.
Developing, implementing and improving processes, policies and procedures to increase effectiveness across the Engineering function.
Assisting in the allocation of budget for engineering and R&D and managing business performance.
Working with the Procurement & Logistics team to ensure that appropriate suppliers, services and equipment is available.



Your background
5 years of experience in either mechanical or automation and/ or electrical engineering, or work experience as a lead engineer.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including SolidWorks and Engineering base.
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines.
A high level of self-motivation and curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
Proficiency in Swedish and English.
