Job description: You will act as the Enterprise Architect (EA) for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) area within the Parts business domain.This is a global responsibility.As an EA you: * Transform high level business requirements into high level information and applications/components models. * Validates consistency with implemented[ systems, bought packages and ongoing projects * Communicates, clarifies and simplifies complex structures. * Conducts reviews of development projects or major changes of existing system architecture in order to support[ and control the alignment of business strategies * Sometimes conduct advanced design, analysis and prototyping activities to address issues in ambiguous or high-risk areas[ Responsibilities: * Ensuring that the implemented solution complies with given specifications and customer quality requirements. * Ensure that the given solution supports the business policies, strategy and stakeholders concerns. * Ensure that a given solution within the business domain is efficient and optimized according to the requirements. * Ensures that reuse and standardization are considered. * Ensure information consistency of cross-functional business requirements within the SCM area * Ensure alignment with high level process- information- and infrastructure models for a given solution within the SCM area * Authorized to suggest alternative solutions and point out deficiencies related to quality within the enterprise architecture area.Qualifications: * Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or other training and experience required for the specific position. * At least 10 years experience within the IT area, and at least 5 years experience within the enterprise architect area. * A broad application development/maintenance-background or a business oriented infrastructure architecture background in various positions and power of authority. * In depth knowledge of information modelling and information structural analysis * Broad knowledge of Software Design and Infrastructure Architectural Design, including practical experience * Experience in ERP systems implementations, preferably within areas of supply chain * Familiarity with SAP * Excellent command of written and spoken English * Experience of client contacts and the ability to communicate effortlessly * Good presentation skills We regard the following qualities as particularly important: A proactive, positive, structured approach.
