Entrepreneurial Assistant Manager Technical Operations

Vårt uppdrag:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Technical Operations with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You will be working in a technical team for a company that owns one of the world's strongest brands. The position will be geographically split between Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, Detroit, Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Melbourne etc. In other words, there will be extensive travels both international and intercontinental. Start as soon as possible.

Arbetsuppgifter:

As Assistant Manager Technical Operations you will be part of a technical team of engineers setting up new production sites all over the world, from scratch. The tasks range from evaluation of locations, identification of architects, input to the lease agreement negotiations, making of technical drawings, safety equipment drawings, compliances with insurance companies and authorities regulations etc. It is a 360° job which also includes keeping track of timelines, orders and budgets. You will have contact with a wide variety of professionals in a fast moving ever changing international environment. The Manager of Technical Operations will teach and support you in the details you need to know to perform the job.

For this position we are looking for an entrepreneurial profile, eager to learn, with the right attitude and approach. You have a bachelor degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. We do not require you to have extensive working experience but willingness to learn and grow fast. You have a strong ability to lead and manage cross functional projects and you have strong collaborations skills. You have the ability to prioritize and be creative when things do not turn out as planned. You are a goal oriented self-starter with strong communication skills. Excellent English spoken and written is required and it is an advantage if you are proficient in other languages, especially French.
