Environmental permit & consenting expert Onshore!

The wind power industry is growing and we need to strengthen our team within Origination & Development Onshore Nordic in Malmö with an environmental permit & consenting expert.
You will get the opportunity to work with business and project development of wind power and you will be an important part of RWE Renewables' journey. We work in an international context and are now looking for you who want to develop with us in an industry that invests in the future.

About the role
In the role as permit & consenting expert, you are the central point of permits.
Your main area for the role will be to support project managers in their permit processes, and be the driving force for a long-term strategy so we can develop our permits further!
We are looking for you who have a personal drive and an ability to handle and be responsible for our permit process.

As a permit expert, you will have overall responsibility for consenting several onshore wind power projects including permit strategy and supervising involved consultants. An important part of the role is to build a good network and relationships. As a permit expert, you will also be RWE's direct contact with the county administrative board, authorities and other stakeholders.

Areas of responsibility:

* Drive the permitting and environmental design of onshore wind farms
* Lead the development of a permitting strategy and schedule including decision on needed investigations, how to mitigate environmental impact and wind farm design.
* Responsibility of the environmental impact assessments and permit documents to secure all needed wind farm permits.
* Assessment of strategic documentation, for example national and regional plans and municipal master plans.
* Consultation and communication with internal and external experts and authorities.

About you

In addition, you should be an all-around artist with personal impact, excellent networking skills and topped with a bit of flexibility.

We also think you have:

* University degree in Law or Environmental Science or similar.
* Experience with permitting and consenting, preferable from wind power but also other areas are interesting.
* Knowledge and Experience with legal work and more specifically with the Environmental Code.
* Experience in contact with authorities.
* Experience of working in an international group or other intercultural experiences is an advantage
* Strong entrepreneurial spirit and initiative


Our business language is English, but since you will mainly work with the Nordic countries, therefore you must be fluent in Swedish.
