We are now looking for an ASIC DFT (Design for test) Engineer, for our ASIC development. Are you an experienced DFT engineer that is passionate about ASIC development? From IP all the way up to system level and enjoys the freedom to drive methodology to ensure full success? Are you quality conscious and prone to drive smarter ways of working? Do you have a career of programming behind you in both RTL and scripting? Do you perhaps have experience in back-end work too? Then we are looking for you!


This role reports to Line Manager of SoC Integration and Backend.


You will
• Be part of our Lund Backend & Integration team where you will drive DFT related tasks. A diverse team that focus on Lean and Agile ways of working organized in a multi-functional way where continuous improvement and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
• Be able to grow in your profession and as a person


To be successful in the role you must have
• BSc or MSc level in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other equivalent education.
• At least 5 years of work experience.
• Good understanding of ASIC design flow and DFT/memory BIST (Built In Self Test)/BSCAN (Boundary Scan)/TAP – DFT Architecture
• Knowledge on Scan and MBIST (Memory Built In Self Test) insertion - Scan implementation
• Experience in handling analog blocks during Scan - Isolation
• Experience in pattern generation - compressed and uncompressed ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation) generation/MBIST patterns generation
• Worked with Scan Coverage analysis and debugs
• To contribute to SCAN, MBIST and JTAG timing constraints/analysis
• Experience in gate level simulations - timing and no-timing
• Been working with post silicon debug and support


You might also have
• Continuous Integration experience
• Backend/Middle end knowledge
• Design and integration (RTL stitching) seniority within digital ASIC
• Programming skills such as SystemVerilog, VHDL, C++ and scripting languages like Python
• UPF (Unified Power Format) or other power related knowledge
• Leadership experience
• Telecom knowledge
