Experienced Designer

Adecco IT & Engineering is currently seeking an experienced designer to join out team for an assignment in the automotive sector. Responsibilities: Digitally model designed exterior and interior surfaces with the aid of the Design Dept.CAD systems based upon scan data, design/physical models, sketches or verbal instructions.Deliver CAD models within agreed time and of a quality according to set standard, also able to time a digital surface modeling task.Responsible of quality of the CAD model with respect to surface integrity and technical content.Review of the model with Designer and Studio Engineer.Participate in the analysis of the verification milling.Search, find, send and exchange information in corporate administrative systems and databases.Responsible of visualization of released proposal prior to milling, to identify problems with surface quality and confirm the released proposal with designer and studio engineer.Extract, release and approve models in the corporations release database Skills Required: ALIAS / Icem Surf Should be able to produce a high quality Surface Model again from a variety of input sources such as Concept / Designers CAD model, Sketches, verbal direction from the Designer and Point Cloud or other scan data.Skills preferred: Expert knowledge and a minimum of 10 years experience of digital surface modeling.Extensive knowledge and long experience in one of Product Designs surfacing CAD systems.Long experience from all phases of a complete car project, exterior and/of interior.Good knowledge of all relevant manufacturing processes.
