Assignment Description Lead / Product engineer to run / participate in a floor console program.The lead / product engineer is responsible for reviewing the technical specifications, find the correct technical solution, establish a DVP&R (test plan) incl timing, conduct D-FMEA, secure that other actions (FEA-calculations, safety sign-offs, IMDS) is conducted by central departments etc.Update BOM (bill of materials/artikelstrukturer) and releasing ECR's/ECO's (change orders).Working together with other internal departments and customers.Monitor suppliers for progress / corrective actions.The lead / product engineer is also responsible for a number of engineers and securing that his/her team deliver according to committed plans. Location Arendal, frequent travel to Munich. Personal properties Must be able to keep agreed due dates.Structured personality.Experience from tolerance calculations, geometrical positioning/reference points etc.Very good knowledge of plastic materials and its design limitations (draft angles, wall thickness, injector locations to avoid sink marks / flow lines, ejectors etc.).Good PC skills (excel, word).For lead engineer, a high level of personal integrity and ability to motivate his team member.Very good social skills and in interaction with different people from different cultures / departments.Must also be very good in initiate corrective actions on his/her own initiative and have a highly developed sence of urgency in dealings with team members, other collegues and customers.Must be able to negotiate solutions on technical problems where multiple opinions are present. Experience Automotive: Minimum 5 years incl.3 years interior.Language requirements: English mandatory, Swedish and German a plus.Driving licence: B.
