About Us:
Protecting our people, assets and information is of upmost importance to Volvo Cars. Our Corporate Security team is undergoing an exciting evolution to ensure we are fit for purpose against our company’s future.
What you will do:
You will lead Volvo Cars implementation of security programs with a particular focus on our activites under the Swedish Protective Security Act (Säkerhetsskyddslagen). You will also support many of our global security programs coordinating our security incident reporting and managing our engagement with law enforcement authorities.
You will be joining our global security team who set the company’s security standards, best practice and directly support security operations across the company. As such your role will include opportunities to collaborate across the breadth of our security work and use your skills and experience to shape how we work globally. The breadth of our responsibilities also opens the opportunity for you to develop additional capabilities.
What You’ll Bring:
We believe you are an experienced security operator with experience in the defence of government sector, comparable education, or a combination of both. You have a robust understanding of the Swedish Protective Security Act (Säkerhetsskyddslagen) and experience implementing activities under this act. You are an energetic team player with experienced in managing a broad group of stakeholders. You have a keen interest in developing your capability and continuing to broaden your security experience.
Fluency in English and Swedish is a requirement for this role.
