The Architecture Enablers team is part of the Architecture Function in Volvo Group Digital & IT.
Our mission is to support the Volvo Group in the Architecture transformation, to provide frameworks and tools for portfolio management and enterprise architecture and also to drive initiatives in the Digital Transformation area.


We are looking for an experience Architect to manage these challenges with us and in collaboration with the full IT community.


Opportunity description
Your mission, in the Enterprise Architecture area, is to:
Support in tools and way of working for the Architecture community to support the analysis of our landscape and to support planning of the landscape transformation
Contribute to or Drive digital transformation initiatives related to IT Architecture
Contribute actively to the Architecture Strategy operationalization
Have the role of the Key User lead for the Volvo Enterprise Architecture Repository (VEAR) based on MEGA HOPEX platform, e.g. key user community network management covering all Volvo Group organizations, Training support (train-the-trainer), Solution Matter Expert.

You will be working in close collaboration with a large network of architects in the IT community, from Business to IT Delivery organizations.


Who are you?
Graduated with a master’s degree in IT, you have at least 5 years of experience as an IT or Enterprise Architect and have strong knowledge in IT architecture - If you do not have a master's degree, a longer experience would be necessary
You have architecture and technology skills, and you understand architecture principles
You can integrate all architecture disciplines (Business, Data, Application, Integration, Technology, Security)
You are comfortable in discussing with business about requirements and participate in Steering Committees
You have good presentation skills (written and verbal) and are able to put forward your points in a fact based and convincing manner
You are able to assess and manage IT risks and issues
You are a team player and can work in collaboration with the team
Fluent in English - all communications are made in this language
