There you can play an important role creating changes and success.  As a Facility Specialist you will be a key player in keeping Volvo Cars facilities up to date creating customer satisfaction. This role reports to Senior Manager Workplace Operations services and projects and will be a member of the property and user services team.

What you’ll do?
Currently we are looking for a Facility Specialist to manage our property related operations within Volvo Cars facilities and infrastructure in EMEA-region. In your function you will develop design, construct and perform maintenance of facilities and services together with Workplace operations engineers and projects leaders. You will ensure that there is a plan, lead and coordinate Workplace Operations base delivery in property related services and planned maintenance to optimize both the customer satisfaction and cost performance for Volvo Cars properties within EMEA. You will lead and coordinate activities in our facilities. This function will also analyse trends and technics within Workplace Operations. Work with KPI and maintain records for all work, update systems data and legal requirements.  You will lead/participate in regional forums with suppliers. You will also lead and work with our action plans to improve user satisfaction.  

You and your skills?
We are looking for you who has a university degree and solid experience in understanding maintenance concept and asset management. You also have applicable legal competence. If you have knowledge of Volvo Car routines and processes that is meritorious. Broad spectra within operational development and quality concerns and economics from a facility management perspective is desirable. Previous experience of electrical grid is also desirable. On a personal side, you a strong communicator who has ability to build good relationships and cooperate cross functionally. You have strong coaching skills and can influence others. You have strong analytical capability and strong business acumen in both efficiency and effectiveness. You are open to new ideas, you take initiatives and have high moral and integrity.  Last but not the least you act as a role model and show courage, well thought through judgement and persuasiveness at work. You are good at presenting business cases and drive your own ideas to make progression.

As we are a global organization you also need to have excellent communication and presentation skills in English (both verbal & written). Travel may occur.
