Field Engineering Group Manager Nordics

Responsibilities

The Group Manager Field Engineering is responsible for leading a team of Loss Prevention Consultants/Specialists to provide high quality, state-of-art loss prevention services to clients within their area of responsibility. It also includes responsibility for assuring the implementation of field safety procedures by field engineers. 

The Group Manager Field Engineering protects the assets of the client and FM Global by assuring that their team members properly evaluate and assess the nature and magnitude of loss potentials.

This position will work closely with Account Engineering to assure alignment in pursuing common risk servicing goals and objectives.

This position will focus on developing management skills therefore work on expanded duties such as task forces and other operation coordinator roles will be limited.  



Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Science or equivalent, 7+ years of loss prevention engineering,                    2+ years of account engineering experience. Experience as a B&M Loss Prevention Consultant is preferred
Demonstrated technical aptitude
Possesses strong risk identification and quantification skills
Considerable knowledge of engineering processes
Knowledgeable of FM Global engineering resources
Excellent communication and coaching skills

Judgment - makes logical decisions by evaluating available information and considers the ramifications of actions.
Management – provides clear expectations to direct reports; follows up to ensure work is being completed; delegates responsibilities to empower others
