Field Engineering Manager

Responsible for all aspects of on-site engineering including the discipline administrative
function and ensures appropriate technical personnel are assigned to the project.
 Manages, supervises, directs and reviews activities of the field engineering team in the
performance of on-site engineering design required during the course of construction,
commissioning and handover.
 Provides technical support to the Construction Management Team (CMT), construction
supervisors and Contractors.
 Manages field change processes and Contractor RFI’s per Hatch PLP procedures.
 Assists the Construction Manager to plan, budget and implement training/development
programs for resources assigned to the project.
 Coordinates local permitting and inspection requirements as required (i.e.: building and
occupancy permits, boiler safety registration processes, etc.).
 Assists CMT to develop and implement the Field Engineering section of the Construction
Execution Plan.
 Provides on-site monitoring and engineering assistance with the constructability program.
 Performs review of Contractor CWP submittals, ITPs and Method Statements.
