Finance Controller, Menzies Aviation Arlanda

We are now looking for a Finance Controller for Scandinavia to join our team in Sweden:

Main Duties & Accountability:
- Completion of monthly close procedures to trial balance stage.
- Upload of monthly results into Hyperion and preparation of variance analysis.
- Ensure Finance team delivery for month end reporting in accordance with deadlines set.
- Ensure that a monthly balance sheet reconciliation file is prepared in accordance with deadlines set.
- Analyse monthly results against annual budget and rolling forecast.
- Preparation of the year end close procedure and preparation for the annual audit.
- Assist in preparation of the annual budget.
- Assist in preparation of monthly rolling forecasts.
- Preparation of annual report and assist external consultants with preparation of tax returns.
- Assume responsibility for preparation of the weekly flash forecast.
- Preparation of weekly cashflow and submission into Hyperion.
- Focus on cost analysis and control. Recommend any cost savings identified to the Regional Financial Controller.
- Preparation of Capital Investment Proposals.
- Maximizing the regional business potential and revenue, identifying new business opportunities.
- Management of 5 staff.
- Stand in for Regional Financial Controller as required.
- Adhoc tasks as requested by the Regional Financial Controller

Essential Skills:
- Fully Qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis in progressively more responsible roles.
- Qualified accountant.
- Knowledge of EU VAT regulations.
- Knowledge of Hyperion, Sun, Vision and RSMS.
- Good communication and diplomatic skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to form internal and external business relationships.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.

Experience in passenger, ramp and cargo handling services is a plus as well as good knowledge of Menzies Aviations organization.
