The Finance dept within the Unit Electrical & Electronical Systems
Engineering (EESE), part of Reseach and Development (R&D) is responsiblefor the unit finance control and financial planning. This includes accounting, budget and forecast performance.
The department is involved in the financial target setting process for our projects(contribution cost & investments) and closely linked to this is controlling and measuring performance against set obejctives. The department currently consists of 8 members and as Unit Finance Manager you will be responsible to lead and develop the function within the areas above.
Provide financial expertise and support to the Unit Manager and the Management Team
Responsible for unit orderbook and to establish Business Plan and budget targets for EESE
Responsible to deliver the established engineering budget target for EESE
Responsible, with the Product Cost Controller (PCC) team, to deliver the
established financial targets for contribution cost and Facilities &
Tooling, Launch and Engineering Cost (FTLE) in programs
Provide financial information and presentations to Management Team on financial status of program. (Performance against contribution cost and FTLE)
Work with PCC teams to benchmark, identify best practices and ensure alignment
Develop principles, processes and tools to improve cost control
Participate in special studies/assignments as required
Member of Unit Management Team and participating in all unit management meetings
Responsible of the Units Facility Council
Member of the Units Investments Council, R&D Strategic Facility forum, R&D Finance Management Team
Profile qualifications:
Broad understanding of Finance's role in the Product Development processes
Proficiency in understanding and interpreting financial information and communicating the information in a clear and concise way.
Strong business acumen
Exceptional analytical skills and a structured way of working
Possess strong leadership skills in areas of integrity, drive for
result, courage, teamwork, communication and developing people.
Fluent in English, orally and written
Education:
At least Bachelors degree in business administration (or similar)
