Financial Controller

Are you the driven and analytical team player with an interest for finance we´ve been looking for?! As Financial Controller you will have the task of planning, implementing and analyzing financial statements for Stena Line's routes and legal entities in the Stena Line Group. This is an excellent opportunity to get a good insight into an international organization where you will work with a variety of different tasks in a complex environment. You will be a part of a group responsible for operations in Scandinavia, Germany, the Baltics, UK and the Netherlands.

We try to get a smooth closing and reporting process, which means that tasks are shared between different individuals. As robotics and digitalization is on our agenda there will be an opportunity to be part of that development as well.

Other areas of responsibility that you will be part of include:
- Responsible for legal entities including monthly reporting
- Develop routines and processes
- Ensure that we comply with local legislation and the Group's accounting principles
- Shared responsibility for the groups fixed assets register, which is a vital part of Stena Line’s balance sheet
- Provide support and expertise to the business
- Support to other Finance departments
- Internal control

We are looking for a new colleague who will join our Accounting team, consisting of 11 team members. As Financial Controller you will be reporting to one of the two Accounting Managers. The finance department is organized as a Shared Service Center (SSC) where the Accounting department is included. We work as one Finance department, which means that we do have work that covers the Stena Line legal entities where the finance departments are responsible for different parts of the process.

Qualifications:
- M.Sc in Business and Economics
- 3-5 years of qualified work experience from Finance, preferably from an audit firm or international company
- Very good knowledge in Excel
- Knowledge in IFRS and statutory reporting is meritorious
- Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken

Our business system is JD Edwards and we are reporting to the group in the consolidation system Aaro.
