Financial Controller

At Transfer Galaxy we have developed a digital platform for cross-border remittances. With the help of technology, we make remittances cheaper, safer and smarter while helping some of the world's poorest to save on expensive fees when sending money to support their loved ones. We are backed by some of the most prominent investors in the Nordics.

We are looking for a recent graduate to be the first full-time addition to our financial team. As a Financial Controller you will be working closely with the company’s CFO. The role is diverse where you will:

- Coordinate month-end reports including transaction reconciliation together with accounting firm
- Overseeing financial flows and foreign currency trades
- Analyse business performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting variances and trends
- Assist with developing and follow-up on budgets and financial forecasts by liaising with function directors
- A range of ad hoc responsibilities

The ideal candidate has:

- A bachelor or master’s degree in business/finance/accounting
- Strong analytical and logical skills, while being interested in systems and automation
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently
- A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn
- Fluency in Excel
- Fluency in English and Swedish
