The role:

As the Accountant for Sweden, your primary responsibility will be to drive financial performance whilst ensuring robust financial controls. You will work closely with our regional and group finance teams as well as the country executive management teams to support profitable growth through development and execution of financial and operational plans.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Control

• Review and explain financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year
• Review the Balance sheet periodically to ensure all balances are correct.
• Ensuring financial control including process management and segregation of duties
• Assist in the Audit of the annual accounts
• Manage the VAT return.

Finnacial Planning and Analysis

• Preparation, review and management of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Analyze and monitor company revenue and profitability

Cash Management and Funding

• Manage Accounts Receivable
• Managing relationships with banks

Business Support

• Business partner the CEO and regional CFO to develop and execute operational and financial plans
• Analysis, management and improvement of financial performance

Skills and Experience required:

Previous experience of working as an Accountant in a fast-paced environment.

Alongside you have:

• excellent oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
• good systems experience, particularly SAP would be advantageous.
