OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is on behalf of our client Electrolux looking for a Firmware engineer to their main office at Stadshagen. This position is currently a 6 month long consultant mission with good chances of extension.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Electrolux is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Firmware engineer you will work with firmware design and programming. Your main responsibility will be to secure that the codes you are developing is correct and talks well with the hardware. The products that you will be working with will be everything from home aplliances to home electronics.

For example, you will:


* Analyse and document, system and module requirements.
* Design and document individual modules.
* Develop and test firmware of major scale and complexity.
* Maintenance of software including defect investigation.
* Contribute towards the continuous development of the department's processes.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Have a relevant education background from eg. Robotics, electronics or product development with focus on programming


* Good understanding of C' programming language
* Experience of techniques for communicating between hardware and software eg. like UART, USB and CAN
* Basic knowledge of embedded multi-processor systems and inter-processor communication techniques like I2C and SPI.
* Basic knowledge of processor architectures
* Basic Understanding of embedded debug techniques


It will be considered an additional qualification if you have:


* Knowledge of C++ or C# development in order to test and debug hardware
* Knowledge of Wireless communication protocols
* Knowledge of TCP/IP Stack
