 We are looking for a
Food Application Specialist

This position will be at our Food Tech Center in Helsingborg, Sweden. The center supports our sales efforts of processing solutions for the food process industry in the European, Middle East and Africa. The Food Tech Center is a demonstration facility that is visited by customer to test and evaluate our equipment. For this center we need a food technologist that is knowledgeable on the industrial food processing. Have experience with continuous coating, cooking and freezing of food products. Enthusiastic and confident presenting food processing solutions to customers. Interested in expanding horizons and willing to learn more about freezing and processing technology.

Exploring the possibilities of new processes and equipment in a very hands-on environment. Supporting the sales of our equipment by testing applications in a laboratory environment. Working together with a team that is passionate about processing and processing equipment.

You will be responsible for:

Demonstrating our equipment in the Food Technology Center.Performing tests with customer food products. These tests are performed both at our test facilities in Sweden and Scotland but also at customer's facilities in the regions.Advising on the most optimal processing solutions from our portfolio of equipment.Training our sales team and other people within the organization on food processing technology involving our product offering.Support R&D activities with food processing knowledge that are critical for the functioning of our equipment.

 

We are looking for:

Food science university degree and at least 3-5 years of proven experience in the food processing industry where you have been working on applications and product development for food processing.Experience with continuous and IQF freezing of food productsInternational experience on food processing technologies and good market knowledge.You have a high level of energy, good drive and are result oriented.Able to travel within Europe, approx. 40-80 days per year. Other areas of travel are occasionally necessary.You have excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Swedish, other language skills are a merit.You work well with all levels in an organization, are flexible, self-managed and able to manage strategic activities, hands-on and knowledgeable operational issues.
