Our client in Stockholm is looking for a Senior Research Engineer RF. The contract is for 3 months with possible extensions. Job Description: . Definition of the technical requirements of the RF parameters for UMTS, E-UMTS system, e.g. performs simulations of diverse RF system scenarios and derives the minimum requirements for transmission and reception parameters, and for channel demodulation. . Provide contributions of 3GPP RAN WG4 to define RF related specification . Research and analysis of new RF concepts, definition of cost reduction measures for the RF, . Cooperating with product development. Essential Skills required: . MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. . Minimum four years research experience in relevant areas with outstanding records (publications and patents). . Experiences in GSM/GPRS, WCDMA RF requirements related specification . Good verbal and writing skills in English. . Good communication skills. Independent consultants may also apply.
