Front-end lead developer

About this role

We are now looking for a front-end lead developer to keep improving our products. In this role you will be a key player in all front-end development and the design and user interface for all parts of our system. Your work will cover user interface development for our configuration tools, our webbased management portals, alarm central system, and several other applications.You will work closely together with both UX designers, back-end developers and machine learning researchers, making sure that our entire system is coherent, stable and easy to use.

Our R&D department consists of tight agile teams, where most people contribute in several aspects of the system.You will be located at our main office in Göteborg, as part of a team with a lot of energy and a strong community.

Who we think you are

To be qualified for this role, we require at least 5 years of hands on front-end experience and fully developed skills using modern web technologies. We believe that you to have a BSc or MSc in software engineering and we expect you to take the lead in our front-end development. Much freedom will be given if our high expectations are meet.

As front-end lead at Iristy we see the following desired qualifications:

- Extensive experience from modern web technologies such as a React and Angular JS
- Good insights in how a complete web stack application works, with experience from REST APIs and database design
- Experience from front-end testing (cross-browser, multiple languages etc).
- Ability to work closely together with product owners and UX designers, making sure that our front-ends match our customers expectations


Great skills in the English language is a requirement and good Swedish skills is an advantage.advantage.
