Lavasoft is looking for a front-end web designer, with strong graphical skills and familiarity with web development in XHTML and CSS.We believe you value effective, usable designs and well-structured, stable systems.You will join our existing web development team - a small, creative group where we take pride in providing the end user with a good user experience.
The Lavasoft websites have visitors from all around the world and the high traffic on our systems presents an exciting, creative and challenging environment for someone that genuinely thrives on professional development.
In the role as a front-end web designer, your main responsibilities will be:
.Layout and construction of high-performing e-mail campaigns to be sent out to customers, partners and users.
.Layout and construction of effective landing pages for e-mail campaigns, paid search campaigns and direct messaging campaigns.
.Updating website information, including images.
.Creating images (such as banners, buttons and box shots) for use in our e-commerce systems, on the website, in campaigns or in our software.
.Creating web pages and templates as part of larger team projects.

Skills and traits
.Skilled in XHTML and CSS
.Experience with graphical editing software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator
.Good eye for layout and design
.Attention to detail
.Able to produce well-structured and valid code according to web standards
.Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
.Able to work as a part of a team and to both give and receive input and advice
.Desires to produce better work every day and to improve constantly

Desirable
.Skilled in Flash
.Skilled in object-oriented programming, such as PHP
.Experience from creating online marketing campaigns
