Hilton Stockholm Slussen is looking for a Front Office Manager who wants to be part of an international organization with the possibility of an international career. In addition to the 289 guest rooms and large meeting facilities, we operate several F&B outlets. What will I be doing?
As a Front Office Manager, you will lead the Front Office Team, which is the main connection between the Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments. A Front Office Manager is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead and oversee the Front Office department to ensure our guest service brand standards are met and exceeded
Ensure that the team operates with a sales approach to maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
Ensure continuous focus on promoting the Hilton loyalty program, Honors
Evaluate Guest satisfaction and monitor trends thorough our Guest Satisfaction surveys, with a focus on continuous improvement
Be responsible for the department’s budget and cost control
Ensure work schedule is set as per hotels productivity standard and business needs and in line with collective agreement
Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team to enable them to Thrive at Hilton
Set objectives, targets, policies and procedures for the department together with the hotel management team in line with Hilton purpose platform
Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments in line with Hilton values
What are we looking for?
You are a leader who thrives on providing great guest experience together with your team. You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience from a Front Office leadership role, preferably in a larger hotel with an international environment.
You are comfortable working with computers, specifically with Microsoft Office. You have also worked with a Property Management System such as OPERA or similar
Language skills: Conversational fluent in English as well as Swedish.
It will be beneficial if you have:
A hotel management degree or similar
Previous successful experience of managing and developing a group of people
Previous experience from being responsible for a departments budgets and cost control
