Frontend architect

Job description
We are looking for a frontend architect to our client, who is the world leader in the dairy industry. They deliver integrated solutions for milk production designed to improve production, animal health and the overall quality of life for milk producers. The company develops, manufactures and markets equipment and complete systems for milk production and animal husbandry worldwide. The company supplies efficient systems for milking, management, cooling, feeding, fertilization, ventilation and energy recovery.

Responsibilities
You will be a part of a scrum team with 7 people. You will focus on building a stable and scalable frontend architecture for an inhouse on-premise product as an IoT solution. The frontend professional is responsible for driving the frontend team architectural work together with the backend/API team, in order to achieve a robust, scalable and long term scalable platform. You will lead and take part in pre-studies and functional business cases along with development, implementation, test automation and demonstration to stakeholders together for both in-house teams and product owners. The role involves driving the work, analysing problems, enforcing solutions, involving stakeholders and actively supporting decision-making from an architectural perspective within the team.


Work as frontend expert being responsible for the overall frontend architecture within team for the web apps 
Define the future frontend project model and be the driving force to realize and safeguard of decided project model 
Collaborate with UX designer when building frontend architecture 
Guide the API teams when designing and implementing the frontend architecture
Understand the business and IT needs, securing a healthy frontend that is maintainable and scalable 
Document and communicate solutions, including providing solution recommendations
Perform functional and technical document reviews along with Team / Product Architects 
Support project leads, business representatives and IT-requirement analysts with functional and technical knowledge
Collaborate with implementation team for CI/CD
Participate in problem management related to area of expertise 
Work in AGILE way in a scrum team


Qualifications
We want you to have 3+ years of experience as a frontend developer with experience from global high load consumer frontend solutions, preferably large business to consumer platforms. You have extensive knowledge about frontend design best practices, architectural principles and patterns.

You have experience from/with: 
Leading/Guiding frontend developer teams and driving architectural change within a large organization
Building consistent UI/UX experiences across various browsers and devices working on multiple touch-points
Building reusable UI/UX components that are scalable, maintainable and flexible
Complex responsive, mobile-first web design
HTML/HTLM5, JS, CSS
Preferably Vue.js or Angular/React/ (micro UI)
API development, best practices and headless designs
GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, CI/CD platform tools

It is meritorious with experience in:
Front-end Test Automation & Test Automation in general
Experience with Dockers, Containers, Kubernetes and AWS tools portfolio
