Mavshack has been active since 2007 on the VOD markets in Europe and Asia. Mavshack.com currently offers over 1 600 Filipino movies, concerts and music videos addressing mainly the 125 million Filipinos around the globe. Mavshack competes in an exceptionally fast- moving marketplace, where customer expectations are high. Our sustained success is therefore dependent on maintaining rigid, yet proactive, organization, capable of spotting and taking advantage of new market opportunities fast and in an effective way.
As a Frontend Developer at Mavshack AB you will work closely together with the project team, and with business representatives from different countries.

We are looking for a superb Front-End Web Developer who is excited by, and loves working within web based systems for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and demonstrate your technical skills. You will be involved in the design, development and support of Mavshack which makes use of a range of technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, HTML/ CSS and Javascript technologies. You must be a strong communicator and team player who understands what is required to build and deliver. You must also have a good ability to co-operate and to communicate.

Work tasks
- Build, design and deliver high quality, high volume, high availability and high performance solutions in line with guidance and best practices.
- Daily liaison with the technical lead and design teams to ensure the definition, design and development of new features run smoothly.
- To develop, test, release and document applications using best software engineering practices to ensure timely service delivery and ease of maintenance.
- To provide technical advice to the content and design teams on new application concepts and to establish their feasibility through prototypes.
- To collaborate effectively with other technical teams to exploit new technologies to enhance the applications and service infrastructure.
- To keep abreast of developments in web development, design and technologies; particularly related to mobile devices and streaming video.

Specific qualifications
- Highly proficient with HTML5, CSS3 with a strong focus on Responsive Web Design
- Skilled at crafting modular and maintainable CSS
- Experience working with relative and fixed units, grid systems, web typography and media queries
- Experience building HTML/CSS solutions for mobile devices
- Proficient in Javascript with experience using JS libraries (JQuery, Modernizr etc)
- Understanding of major browsers and browser development tools
- Understanding of web accessibility issues and appropriate methods for testing these
- Proficient in the design and execution effective functional tests.
- Experience of supporting, modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by 3rd parties.
- Experience using continuous integration as an integral part of a project.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and perform business analysis.

Desirable qualifications are skills in: C#, ASP.Net, PHP, SQL server 2005/2008, MySQL. XML, CSS, UML. Internet protocols such as: FTP, HTTP, HTTPS. Content Management Systems, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). ORM tools, for example Microsoft Entity Framework. ECO Framework, Social media, Streaming Video, Object Entity Framework 4.0.
