Frontend Developer

Instabox is a tech/logistics scaleup that wants to change the logistics industry. We think it should be easy to shop online and offer our customers a fast and smooth shipping service - all in order to make everyday life easier. We want our customers to be able to shop from any of our 50 e-commerce partners and pick up their products in one of our 400 smart boxes - all in the same day. Does this sound too good to be true? Might sound so, but it is all possible by the fact that we are developing our own software.

Instabox is a fast growing company and we are now looking for driven Developers who want to be part of our journey - breaking new land within the fields of e-commerce and logistics. As a startup we are building our own systems and products from scratch, using modern technology for our cost-effective delivery method. Since we are developing our own technology we can control everything from architecture to technology choices. We break new ground on a daily basis and the aim has been set high.

Job Description

For our Consumer Facing team, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who thinks it is fun to create useful applications and services which all contribute to a great customer experience. Together with our Designers and Product Managers you will design the parts of our product that are faced to our customers. As a Senior Frontend Developer you will get the opportunity to have a great impact in everything from choices of techniques to system architecture.

You will be a part of our expanding Tech and Product Development team, consisting of 18 developers, designers and Product Managers and you will report directly to CTO.

Who are we looking for?

- You love to code and think it is fun with design and to create quality products and apps.

- It is an advantage if you have a Bsc or Msc in Computer Science or related discipline.

- At least 5+ years experience as a Frontend Developer where you have developed products with focus on design, security, performance, testing and accessibility.

- You are well versed with modern Javascript frameworks (React, Redux, Webpack, Typescript, ES6, Node and/or Angular) and have good knowledge regarding code structure and best practices.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD, agile process
- Some experience with performance optimizations, backend languages and tools, cloud platforms is an advantage.
- Good English skills, verbally and written.


As a person you like to take your own initiatives and to work result-oriented. You have good analytical and problem solving skills - always striving to find new solutions. You are a driven team player that enjoys working but also to have fun while doing it. Design and GUI are great interests of yours and you are detail-oriented in your work.

Our Tech Department is located at Medborgarplatsen where you will sit together with other driven Developers. This is a full-time position and you will have flexible working hours.
