Frontend Engineer – Data Quality

You will be a part of our upcoming Data Quality team developing products that enable our customers to objectively reason about their data quality and its implications on their end system.

Annotell is a fast-growing startup with a mission to provide the world’s best platform to make safe perception for autonomous mobility happen. For that, clients need to understand their system performance. One critical step in this process is understanding the uncertainties and error contribution from the underlying data. We are at the beginning of this journey, and we have now decided to create a product area for this cause: Enable our customers to understand how their data quality affects their ability to develop autonomous vehicles.

What you’ll do
Our users will rely on an excellent, fast, and simple user interface to quickly navigate the quality of their data - the UI you will help build. You will work in a cross-functional team with colleagues of various skill sets such as UX design, statistics, and backend. Together with the team, you will define what constitutes an excellent product for data set quality and make that vision happen.

Our tech stack
We use modern tools, and our web app is modularly built using TypeScript and React. We develop our backend with Scala and Python and deliver the complete solution using Kubernetes on Google Cloud. We rely on ElasticSearch to enable real-time search capabilities.

Who you are
We are looking for a candidate with solid experience building web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript and React. Previous experience from creating interactive data visualisations and working with Elasticsearch would be a great plus.
