Test/System Verification Engineer: End User Services and Infrastructure in Gothenburg
The mission:
As a System Verification Engineer at our customer, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of IT services based on new IT technologies and architecture framework.

Your responsibilities cover: requirement analysis, test case design documentation, preparation for test environment, test execution and reporting.

The role includes many interactions with people within project: technical experts, architects, business analysts, IT service managers, team leaders and sub-project leaders.

It is important to have good communication skills within and across teams, have the mindset of solving problems, communicate and find solutions.

Your responsibilities:
Analyze IT requirements, identify which are testable, define test comments on requirements so that test cases can correctly verify and validate requirements.
Identify test cases per IT test type/system/sub-system, design and document test cases. See IT service areas below.
Prepare test environment.
Validate and execute test cases.
Report quality and test results.
Identify and communicate defects, ensure to validate them after correction and secure documented deviations during verification.

Required skills: Many years of test experience within IT network services.
Commitment to work with test and verification, and focus on meeting the demands and needs of our customers.
Experience in the area of requirements verification, validation and test evaluation.
Good knowledge about system functions and system interdependencies.

Required IT technical skills:
Professional competence related to modern IT services like: Digital workplace Clients (physical virtual), devices basic knowledge of applications as IFS and 3DX.
Endpoint Protection Unified Endpoint Management: Firewall, Endpoint Threat Protection Encryption. Device enrollment, Policy management, Configuration Patch management.

Collaboration Communication: Mail, Skype, SharePoint, Storage, Print.
Application Infrastructure VCF: VMware Cloud Foundation
Network NSX: Network Virtualization (VMware NSX)
Compute Database

Connectivity: Remote Access, FW/Routing Core, Core Distribution, Networks, Access Networks.

Desired skills: Use test plans in Azure DevOps.
Write scripts and automate some test cases when needed.
Test frameworks and test tools.
ISTQB certified.


Location:
Malmö preferred, however Gothenburg and Linköping works as well but able to travel to Malmö.

Language:
Swedish and English, oral and written.

Assignment:
100%, starts asap - 6 months with extension.
