Full Stack Developer - build the next generation of technical documentation

Paligo is a state-of-the art cloud-based Content Management System for authoring, managing, publishing, and translating technical documentation.

In short, we are transforming the way technical writing teams work.

We now need more developers to help building all the new exciting features to take Paligo to the next level, and we’d love to hear from you if you are a self-motivated, driven developer with a knack for problem solving.

You should be comfortable with web development on the LAMP stack or similar (the exact language or framework you’ve been using is not crucial, as long as you are comfortable quickly getting acquainted with the languages and frameworks used), but experience and understanding of an MVC framework like Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symphony, etc is a plus.

You should also be experienced and familiar with front end development in JavaScript and jQuery. Again, specific frameworks (React, Angular, etc) you’ve been using is not important, if you can just dig into what’s needed.

Some of the tasks you’d be involved in are:

Developing our external API
Developing integrations with other cloud platforms (e.g JIRA, Slack, etc)
Developing an interactive web editing environment
And much more.


Strong Computer Science education (engineering degree) or proven strong fundamental skills
4-6 years of relevant experience
Strong PHP or similar backend language skills
Strong JavaScript/jQuery skills
Solid SQL (MySQL) knowledge
You’re strongly motivated to deliver. You’re diligent, persistent, and see things through.

Nice to have:

Experience developing API interfaces
Experience developing for a modern cloud application
Experience with the Amazon AWS platform
Content Management or technical documentation experience (to understand the purpose of the platform)
Experience developing integrations between cloud platforms
Knowledge of developing for interactive editing environments, e.g web-based editors.
