The section Powertrain OBD and Dependability, within Complete Powertrain, has the mission to ensure that the development of the next generation engines reflects our brand essence of 'Designed Around You' and that all legal and customer attributes regarding OBD and Powertrain dependability is met. We oversee the complete development work from concept design and requirement setting as well as calibration and verification in the last development phase. All activities aiming to deliver world class OBD and dependability. The department is mainly working with function development/application for embedded powertrain systems and need to strengthen its workforce with a Function Developer for Driver Evaluation.

As a Function Developer for Driver Evaluation you collect driving pattern data which can be used to improve the quality of both HW components and SW functions. The area of responsibility is to collect and set requirements, design and implement statistic logger functions, execute pre-series verification and analyse vehicle data. You will also perform advanced data analyses method development and report conclusions to the R&D organisation. A close dialogue with project managers, line management and function developers inside powertrain is required of this role. You will there for have a large contact network and need social skills and ability to network. Main responsibilities

* Collect and set requirements for driver evaluation.
* Design and implement statistic logging functions
* Verification of statistic logging functions
* Analyse and report field data from vehicles
* Develop autonomous data analysis methods for driving pattern data

Required qualifications

* M.Sc. preferable in Applied Physics or equivalent
* Experience from SW development and data analysis
* Experience from MatLab, Simulink and Python
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Driver's license (B-level)
