In order to be successful in this role, we believe that you have the following experience and qualification :-
* Ph.D. / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in electronics, software, computer engineering (or similar)
* >10 years of experience working in automotive system/software development within the Safety area
* Knowledge of safety engineering processes (Hazard and Operability Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, etc.)
* Knowledge/ documentation experience on ISO 26262 Part 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9
* Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) or Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) certificate a plus Good knowledge of vehicle dynamics systems (braking, suspension, steering...)
* Knowledge of electrical and electronics architecture.
* Knowledge of Embedded systems, agile software development process and ASPICE
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of product development cycle (DVP).
* Comprehensive knowledge of the SAFe Agile Way of Working and mindset is a plus.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
What’s in it for you?
As a Functional Safety Manager, your mission is to ensure compliance with the ISO26262 standard in developing our products. You will be responsible for reviewing technical concepts and solutions, making sure they meet the functional safety requirements for our systems. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key in this role, as you will connect cross-functional teams and contribute to operational strategies. Building trust and confidence among your colleagues and management will be crucial.
Your main responsibilities also include to :-
* Drive the development of functional and technical safety concepts within the function, system, subsystem, software, and hardware. Lead functional safety engineering activities for product development teams
* Develop technical work products specific for functional safety requirements, e.g., item definition, criticality analyses, other safety analyses, and test coverage analysis for safety requirements
* Support the implementation of functional and technical safety requirements in all parts of the vehicle system design. Support the development of verification and validation strategies within the subsystems, software, and hardware
* Develop and integrate Functional Safety standards and industry common practices into corporate processes according to ISO 26262
