Aberdeen Property Investors group is owned by Aberdeen Asset Management PLC, a publicly listed global asset management company, managing over EUR105 billion of investment assets.Aberdeen Property Investors (API) manages EUR8.1 billion of property assets on behalf of pension funds and other institutional clients. API Indirect Investment Management AB (APIIIM), a subsidiary of API, is dedicated to investing in real estate private equity funds on behalf of its clients and runs a fund of real estate funds.API covers all international markets and is represented in Stockholm, Helsinki and Amsterdam with a current investment capacity of EUR1.8 billion.APIIIM has recently employed a Fund Administration Manager but is still growing and is therefore now seeking to recruit another Fund Administration Manager for its Fund of Real Estate Funds activities, to be based in Stockholm.The position reports to the Finance Director.On February 3, APIIIM successfully closed the first and largest pan-European fund of property funds.The fund's 27 institutional investors (consisting of investors from Portugal, Switzerland, Holland and the Nordic countries) committed more than EUR600 million to the fund.A follow-up fund is now being structured and such fund is planned to be launched by APIIIM later this year.The new position will mainly be responsible for the administrative management of the new fund of property funds. Tasks and Responsibilities: .Responsible for establishing and developing administrations routines for a funds of property funds.. Responsible for NAV calculations, redemption and issuance of units, capital calls from and distributions to investors, monitoring the fund accounts and producing quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports to investors.. Manage/co-operate with the custodians, transfer agents and auditors in Luxemburg to manage the day-to-day fund administration and financial reporting of the fund.. To manage credit facility arrangements, liquidity and any other financing activities on behalf of the fund.As well as administrate all costs and payments made by the fund to third parties.. Responsible for compliance with the directives of and reporting to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.. To generally assist the Finance Director with other administrative matters.Profile of the suitable candidate: . B.Sc in Business Administration with 8-15 years relevant work experience.. Preferred background as fund administrator /manager of an alternative investment fund, as an auditor and/or from similar work from the financial sector..
