Do you want to be part of developing and leading us in to the next generation of AWD systems? We are currently looking for a Gear Development Engineer.

Role Description
The key responsibility of this role will be gear development for various automotive applications, working closely with other departments to specify requirements, quality assurance and performance levels. The role includes:
- Competitive benchmarking activities for development and manufacturing of gears.
- The team is responsible for systematically separating and balancing design parameters regarding durability, NVH and efficiency with this role focusing on NVH.
- Parametric and sensitivity gear design and rating studies.
- Review and approval of gear prototypes and production drawings as well as specifications.
- Participate in customer meetings and write detailed technical reports and create/give technical presentations.
- Assisting production facilities with troubleshooting manufacturing issues and supporting other departments with correlation studies.
- Conducting root cause analysis to review gear application and recommend technical solutions.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.
- Advanced technical understanding of mechanical components and engineering processes.
- Experience of gear geometry and gear manufacturing procedures and tolerances.
- Experience in FEM required.
- Competence using various gear industry / design related software, for example Gleason Cage/T900, Klingelnberg KIMoS, ANSOL, HyGEARS, KISSsoft, BECAL, KNplus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. German language skill is positive.
- Good social skills, the ability to create effective networks and work in teams or independently.
- Domestic and international travel is required.
