General Accountant for ChangeGroup Sweden

In Sweden we have 23 exchange offices and approximately 140 employees but we are growing and therefore looking for a person who is excited to join and contribute to our further journey.
As a general accountant for us you will report to the General Manger in Sweden with a dotted line to the Group Financial Controller in the Group’s International Headoffice London.
Your Main TasksJob Summary
- Produce monthly management accounts for the company to identify results, trends, and performance against budget.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Developing and maintaining strong internal controls, governance and risk management
- Improve the speed, accuracy and efficiency of all financial reporting
- Prepare year end statutory accounts for the company and handling of the company year end audit process
- Responsible for all annual regulatory filings and returns of the company including Corporation Tax\Income Tax\VAT, producing and filing of all relevant schedules for CT and VAT returns
- Develop budgets and financial plans for the company.
- Regular cash flow reporting, cash management and investigating non-standard cash movements
- Regular reporting of gross profit and other KPIs
- Ensure control and timely reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts including bank accounts, fixed assets, intercompany and cash on premises.
- Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll, cashflow and invoice processing

You Have/are
- A Registered Chartered Certified Accountant other registered accounting professional body equivalent.
- Preferably at least 5 years’ qualified experience from working in accounting.
- Experience from financial facilities and knowledge in Swedish accounting principles.
- Objective, responsible and flexible.
- Good analytical and organizational ability.
- Natural sense of structure, with an interest in setting up processes and guidelines
- Good at working both independently and in teams, in a flexible environment.
- A good communicator, both in English and Swedish (fluent in speech and in writing).
- Good computer skills especially in Excel and Word.


You will be placed at our Swedish head office, centrally located on Klarabergsgatan in Stockholm’s inner city. Travel in line of your duties may occur but not on a regular basis.Our team at the Swedish head office is a small but passionate group of approximately 15 people. At ChangeGroup Sweden you work 37.5 hours a week with the possibility for flexible hours. We have a familiar culture and a good working environment.
