Purpose of the Role: We are recruiting for immediate appointment, a person fluent in Scandinavian and English language to be the main point of contact for and provide high quality support to the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian business units.Responsibilities include: . Financial Reporting: strong control and review of the financial close process, with specific attention to revenue accounting (under US GAAP) and revenue reconciliation issues.Day to day responsibility for all internal and external reporting; .Financial Control: full responsibility across 3 legal reporting entities with combined annual revenues of $80M; . Review and oversight of key accounting reconciliations between EA and its Skandinavian distributor, ENS.Continuous assessment and where appropriate redesign of EA's controls in this area. . Supervision, training and development of one direct report, including annual appraisals, coaching and mentoring.. Process and Change Management - work to continuously improve controls and processes, and comply with EA corporate requirements; . Drive Finance Projects - to include system changes, and business process changes The role requires solid technical accounting skills and a strong working knowledge of local (Scandinavian) GAAP.ERP experience, preferably Oracle, and a background in audit, will be viewed as advantageous.
