In the Björkdal mine in Sandfors outside Skellefteå, we mine gold ore in our underground mine. We are a young and driven gang with just over 235 employees and about a hundred entrepreneurs. We are owned by Mandalay Resources, which is based in Toronto, Canada and is TSX-listed. You come to a culture characterized by security, cooperation and optimism, where it is easy to feel at home. About the positions

We need your help to support the Geology Department during the coming holiday period. The main tasks of a geologist are mapping, sampling and laying gables underground. As an Exploration Geologist, work with core mapping and sampling is included in the tasks, and some work in the field may also occur. The core mapper maps the diamond core from the underground drilling. The shift form for production geologist is 7/7 and daytime work, the other services are Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

You should have at least three years of completed geology studies at university and good knowledge of both Swedish and English. We use Surpac and Excel in our daily work. Work in these programs is seen as meritorious. B driving license is a requirement.
