About the job

The marine market is an international business and you will work both internally and externally all over the world.

Your role will be to:
* Secure application leadership for our product portfolio
* Monitor trends and developments in the marine industry covering fuel types, legislation, technology and competitor intelligence
* Drive product and process development, prototype/concepts development and influence future product vision.
* Investigate claims
* Share application knowledge via internal and external trainings. Perform equipment test on field and inhouse
* Represent Alfa Laval as our expert in global forums, such as seminars, exhibitions and councils

You will work in close cooperation with the Sales Companies, Regional Business Managers as well as with the R&D team. The position is based in Tumba, Sweden and moderate travelling (30-50 days/year) is required.

We believe you have a curios mindset for new applications and to push the development of our products further.

What you know

You have a solid engineering or technical background. You are a good team player and you have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You enjoy giving presentations to large audiences. Fluency in English is required.
