Job description

In this role you may support all logistics categories (transportation, warehousing and customs), by running or supporting sourcing projects, executing negotiations and finding ways to streamline the use of data and systems. In addition, you will be the purchasing representative in the management of the categories of Air & Ocean and Express. This work will be done in close alignment and collaboration with the global Transport Manager as well as Trade Lane Managers and local Transport Managers. Your key tasks include to:

* Execute international sourcing projects in any logistics subcategory as part of the purchasing category team and as an integrated part of the transport community. This is done according to the 7-step Strategic Sourcing Process or the 3-step Sourcing Process. Sourcing is primarily done in the Coupa Sourcing Optimization Tool.



* Coordinate and execute rate reviews for Air & Ocean, in close collaboration with Trade Lane Managers.



* Continuously seek opportunities to make processes for rate reviews, sourcing and reporting etc. Less time consuming and quicker by utilizing systems and analytics in the optimal way.



* Support Supplier Relationship Management from a commercial and contractual perspective, based on a close strategic alignment with global and local Transport Managers and Trade Lane Managers.



* Create, develop and implement contracts

We expect you to have/be



* Very strong analytical skills
* Creative, service-minded, ambitious and humble
* Experience from running large scale sourcing events, preferably in logistics
* Experience from international strategic purchasing
* Logistics experience
* University degree (preferably a master's degree) in engineering, economics or similar.
* Excellent verbal and writing skills in English
* Strong negotiation skills
* Expertise in using Coupa Sourcing Optimization (would be a strong merit) or a similar advanced sourcing system and MS Excel.



In addition, it is beneficial, but not required to have

* Experience of developing, analyzing and negotiating contracts
* Experience from SAP ARIBA
