We are currently looking for a

Global Category Manager Facility Service Management (FSM)

Changing the way we are managing suppliers and contracts in FSM will have an enormous impact on cost control, service levels and processes. This is an exciting role at Group Purchasing where change management and a new sourcing strategy will be your main focus.

Your day-to-day work
You will manage the total global spend and supplier base in the FSM category, which typically is divided into hard and soft services. Hard services relate to property maintenance of the premises where SKF operates, and soft services cover cleaning, waste handling, security, hospitality services (canteens, catering, reception etc.), office support and others.
Drive and implement FSM sourcing strategy on a global level
To source, negotiate and sign service delivery agreements with suppliers on Facility Management Services
Organize and lead strategic sourcing projects including management of cross functional sourcing teams
Develop and manage a world-class supplier base for facility services
Identify and utilize synergies across sites, regions and Business units
Optimize service delivery across sites and regions with regards to quality, cost and user satisfaction
Coordinate all FSM activities with the operational FSM buyers
Support local SKF sites in Supplier Relations Management work, including supplier performance follow-up and supplier development
Develop and maintain good relations with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Develop and implement buying channels


We expect you to have
5+ years of experience from leading sourcing/Facility Management projects, either from sales or from purchasing
Proven stakeholder management skills
Relevant academic education, such as a degree in finance, business, law or engineering
Experience from larger company with multiple geographical sites

Ability to sell projects and concepts, convince divergent parties
Ability to establish sustainable stakeholder and supplier relationships
Business minded with excellent negotiation skills (suppliers, stakeholders, employees, unions)
Ability to work independently in identifying, analyzing and acting on opportunities
Strategic and analytical mind-set
Ability to work in a global environment, interacting with different cultures and operational units


Additional information
The role has a global responsibility. Occasional travel is required. Location for this role: SKF HQ. Gothenburg, Sweden.
