You will be part of the Global HVDC Transformers Management team as well as global Operations team within Transformers and lead the global HVDC manufacturing competence group.
In this role you will improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity in the entire value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and reduce operating costs in a safe working environment.
Your responsibilities
Develop and maintain in close cooperation with the global Operations team and the Center of Excellence in Ludvika the HVDC manufacturing platform to achieve best practice for manufacturability, standardization of processes, documentation and equipment.
Identify local process owners for HVDC transformer manufacturing processes and establish a global HVDC transformer manufacturing competence group.
Perform factory assessments and follow the implementation of the global platform. Drive implementation in a systematic manner.
Actively participate in HVDC R&D projects making sure that the manufacturability, quality and safety aspects are taken into consideration.
Make sure investments are aligned with the manufacturing platform and portfolio strategy, constraints, local and global capacity, and capability needs.
Create and regularly update the quality control plan based on identified quality issues.
Perform gap analysis of the existing platform documentation and prepare prioritized plan for developing required documents, updates, and changes. Drive continuous platform improvement and maintenance.
Develop and update documentations such as Production Standards, Quality Inspection Cards, and Training & Certificate material.
Participate in Quality investigations of HVDC Transformers incl. components.

Your background
You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Six Sigma Green Belt is preferable
Experience from Transformer production and/or design
Experience from leading global/regional teams
Understanding of different cultures, networking approach & excellent ability to guide, coach and mentor others
Experience to manage major improvement/restructuring projects
Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills with clear passion to develop and change self and others
