Global Medical Director Aesthetic & Corrective

The Global Medical Director will:
Provide leadership, oversight and support for scientific/medical activities for assigned products within the therapeutic area in aesthetics in cooperation with commercial/marketing, clinical development, affiliate medical departments, RA and other functional areas

Plan development activities and  late stage studies for assigned products.

Initiate medical affairs activities, define the medical strategy and support overall product scientific for assigned products in the GBU portfolio.

Core Job Responsibilities:

* Provides medical expert opinion, medical reviews and interpretation of clinical trials & research
* Reviews and approves affiliate clinical study protocols, their reports and publications
* Understands the regulatory framework & requirements related to product, clinical studies and global drug development
* Develops or reviews clinical part for reports submitted to regulatory authorities
* Assumes  Global Medical Director role for  products within GBU´s product portfolio on Product Safety and safeguards products’ integrity
* Interactions and communication with  RA,  commercial & marketing, other Functional Areas, the affiliate medical organizations and  Development. KOLs & other external stakeholders and cooperation partners, etc.

Required competency

* M.D. or Ph.D. in a Health Sciences Field
* M.D. specialized in dermatology with minimum 5 years industry from the aesthetic field. Substantial experience in conduct of clinical trials or in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry or academia or equivalent
* Demonstrated cross-functional interaction experience. Hands-on experience working on, or leading a medical team is a definite asset. Excellent awareness of commercial needs of the organization
* Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
