What you will be a part of
Group Human Resources is responsible for strategic personnel issues based on the long-term needs of the business operation.
The Global Mobility team is a part of Group HR and are involved in all aspects of Saab’s Global Mobility processes and programs worldwide. The team is handling approximately 160 expatriates on assignment to approximately 30 different countries.
As a Global Mobility Specialist you will be working in the Global Mobility team consisting of three employees and report to the Head of Saab Career Center and Global Mobility.
In this position you will manage the International Assignments process for a wide population of expatriates as well as supporting commuters and business travellers in line with Saab's Global Mobility standards.
As a Global Mobility Specialist you will have a key role within the organisation regarding mobility issues, you will be managing the prepration of international assignments, be responsible for setting up assignment contracts including remuneration packages and have extensive cooperation with HR worldwide as well as with third party providers.
You will also be the driving force in continous improvements on an operational and a strategic level. You will work to improve policies and procedures as well as finding cost efficient solutions for different types of assignments. You will be a driver in developing the organization´s understanding of Saab´s expatriate processes.
Further you will develop policies for coming needs and continuously improve different areas within the function. This includes cooperating with all levels within the Saab Group to deliver a consistent approach globally and participate in wider projects where it’s required. This aspect includes cooperating with external suppliers/partners and external networks.
You will work close together with HR BP, Compliance Specialist, Labour Law, Group Tax, Finance and other internal functions as well as external vendors.
Your skills and experience
To be succesful in this role you have an academic degree and several years of experience in the global mobility field. You have good IT skills (Windows), are fluent in English and have the ability to prepare presentations and process data to report on trends and common themes.
You have strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships at all levels within the company. Ability to flourish in a team environment as well as work independently describes you well. You are solution driven using creative and diverse ways to approach a problem or answer a question. You demonstrate confidence, credibility and good judgment.
