Global Planning Manager

Arbetsbeskrivning

Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we’re taking an exciting step in transforming our market-leading business even further within the area of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. We do this by founding an independent, growth-oriented and customer-centric Business Area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.
With the mission to continuously improve our forecasting and planning processes at a strategic level, we’re now looking for a Global Planning Manager to define clear and actionable roadmaps, supporting our business today and in the future.
About your job
In this position, you’re overall responsible for the planning and inventory control of our end-to-end supply chain worldwide. You organize, lead and prioritize our work to reach targets, service levels and net working capital, and you’re an engaged driver in our global S&OP process. By gathering valuable insights and strategically evaluating our processes and various scenarios, you support us in making informed and timely decisions and being more effective from a demand, planning, production, delivery and economic point of view. You ensure tactical and strategic forecast planning and set up global processes that support the product perspective and generate cross-functional alignment for Operations. Securing supply chain performance predictability and working towards seamless data flow and automation of data processing are other important parts of your job.
Collaboration is key for us to be successful, and you make sure that we incorporate team spirit in everything we do. As a true people manager and a role model committed to Sandvik Core Values, you lead by example and inspire and coach your team and the organization to keep developing.
This position is based at our headquarters in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station.
About you
We’re looking for someone with at least ten years’ experience from working with all aspects of supply chain management, and you have previously held leading positions with responsibility for people and performance management. You have proven your ability to lead teams and the way forward in a highly global environment - perhaps you have experience from working in several different countries - and you know how to set a vision that strengthens our business, and also how to transform it into clear actions and measurable milestones. In addition, you understand the benefits of digitalization and new technology, and you enjoy exploring it further. You’re used to working with different tools for analyzing large amounts of data, and as we’re a global player, you need excellent skills in written and verbal English. A master’s degree in a relevant field is also required.
Collaboration is at the core of your character, and your structured, enduring and genuine ways are a winning combination as you interact and build trust among stakeholders across the organization. You have a high level of intercultural understanding and an open-minded attitude, and your leadership style is based on transparency, inspiring communication and giving the freedom to act. At the same time, you’re very clear with your expectations and build a team culture that is inclusive, sets ambitious targets and aim for great results.
