ABOUT VEONEER

We are around 7,500 people globally working as a team with cutting-edge technologies - like vision systems, radar, lidar, thermal sensing, electronic controls, and human-machine interface and Veoneer is a leader in the auto-tech industry.

We design, develop and manufacture state-of-the-art software, hardware and systems for occupant protection, advanced driving-assistance systems, and collaborative and automated driving to vehicle manufacturers globally.

Our sensors and software solutions prevent traffic accidents and, when accidents are unavoidable, our restraint control systems help mitigate the effects of a crash.

What You´ll Do

We’re now looking for a Senior Active Alignment Engineer that will be our Global Process Owner. Your main mission will be to take ownership for complete Lens alignment process by defining, implementing and improving a 1P1P process to achieve an manufacturing world class across our global plants.

You will lead the design, development and validation of new manufacturing processes and equipment at our “Lead Manufacturing Plants” globally and drive our Global Problem-Solving activities and Yokoten. You will also secure processes compliancy to our Global standards and setup systemic corrective actions plans to all manufacturing plants. This means that you will have a strategic responsibility to propose new process and technology development directions to our Global Engineering and Global Manufacturing departments.

In addition, you will:

- Drive supplier/process development benchmark to ensure continuous improvements and compliance with next generation products

- Define and validate 1P1P processes, materials, equipment and key parameters settings

- Define and continuously improve related Veoneer Standards as: “Design for Manufacturing Rules” checklists, eg. Master PFMEA, Machine Specifications

WHO YOU ARE

We believe that you’re a person who are seeking new and exciting challenges within manufacturing, electronics and change management. You already have a solid base and knowledge within Lens alignment and Yokoten and want to take the next step in your career.

We presume that you thrive in environments of constant learning and discovering new ways of working. Where you can put your strategic and problem-solving skills to good use. You have the flexibility to change perspectives, switching from seeing the situation from a bigger picture and then at the same time going down to details.

You enjoy working independently, driving your own processes, but at the same time understand your role in the team and what you’re all trying to accomplish together. Communicating both with internal and external stakeholders, as well as educating/instructing colleagues locally and globally, is nothing new to you. Instead you like to network and have a way of connecting with people so that they understand the new changes and ways of working. You will possess a global role that will require travels to our different manufacturing plants

We believe that with the aid of your skill of working under pressure, still not losing your meticulous eye for detail you can help us forward to reach the next step within automotive and electronic industrialization.
