Global Product Specialist - Softstarters

As Global Product Specialist, you will be part of the Global Product Management team for Softstarters, which consists of five persons who are all operating globally to make sure we know local market needs and can serve our customers in the best way possible. An important part of your mission will be to motivate and inspire our sales force by making sure they are committed, confident – as well as having the proper training and material to be able to perform and reach their full potential. Other important parts of your work will be to:

• Collect market input and follow the market needs and trends and analyze the impact on the product portfolio and use as input to the product roadmap
• Promote the product portfolio and give product presentations and trainings
• Develop business cases and specify technical solutions and services for R&D and other parts of the organization
• Support our sales unit by offering high-quality technical support
• Clarify product positioning within the product portfolio and towards other products and competitors
• Participate in the product line strategy development
• Participate in developing proper marketing material and campaigns.

As a person, you have a high level of inner drive and take natural ownership of your responsibilities. You possess great communication skills and have a positive can-do attitude. Your hold no prestige, are humble and have a cultural sensitivity, which makes you easy to collaborate with. Furthermore, you have the commitment and ability to lead and motivate others. You are also analytical with a solution oriented mind set.
Most likely, you have a relevant Master’s degree from university and have worked in a relevant field for a few years. You have a solid technical background, preferably with experience of Softstarter or drives in general. Good marketing and sales knowledge is a must, most likely gained from working with B2B sales in the industry sector. Global experience is required in this role and we expect fluency in English – oral and written. If you have skills in other languages, it is considered an advantage.
