Alfa Laval BU Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (GPHE) is looking for a Global Quality Manager

About the job

The role as Global Quality Manager is a new position in BU GPHE with the purpose to drive and develop our quality activities/projects and processes to improve our customer offerings.

Your main responsibilities include:

Within Quality:
* Drive and coordinate quality activities between multiple factories and sites
* Support and represent management in quality topics both internally and externally
* Participate in and ensure continuous improvement projects and activities by coaching with a problem-solving approach and by following up achievements
* Define and optimize Quality processes.

Within Corporate Standards:
* Lead and develop a team of 4 employees working with Corporate Standards, supporting all BUs and PGs within Alfa Laval with standardization related activities.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining Corporate standard processes
* Participate in and ensure continuous improvement projects and activities by coaching with a problem-solving approach and by following up achievements, prioritize tasks to benefit Alfa Laval in the best way, from a corporate view.

The team currently consists of four corporate standard officers and a global claim coordinator. You will have the responsibility to coordinate global processes and projects for nine factories why some travelling is expected. The position reports to the Product Group Manager and will be based in Lund.

What you know

We believe you have working experience within Quality in an international environment and have a track record of quality improvements in manufacturing. It is an advantage if you have experience in working with standards and or standardization.

Preferably you have managing experience or experience from functional leadership positions. You have a higher academic degree and excellent communication skills in English.
