Now we are looking for our new Global Warehouse Specialist. This role will allow for you to interact with colleagues across the entire company and at a variety of positions and roles, you will make friends with people all over the world!
Your Mission
The mission of the Global Supply Chain Excellence team is to drive the development of supply chain strategy, deploy best practices within global supply chain operations and to define and implement policies & standards. We define, improve and deploy global processes.
As of October 2021, Global Warehousing is a key part of the department, ensuring industry standards and operational excellence within our warehouses.
The Global Warehouse Operations Specialist has a key role in this. You will act as the right hand of the Global Warehousing Manager. This means helping to develop standards for our global warehouses to follow, provide training in ways-of-working, and secure we have the right metrics to track performance. Warehousing should be based on industry standards, focus on eliminating waste, and drive excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. You might also participate in running projects to set up new warehouses, restructure a poorly performing warehouse, or support on WMS-implementation.
•    Support the Global Warehousing Manager with operational expertise & key warehousing activities
•    Develop and implement global warehousing standards
•    Support the development of global warehousing metrics and then implement them
•    Work closely with the regional teams to achieve warehousing excellence related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
Your Profile
• Degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related subject 
• Hands on experience working within a warehouse
• Documented expertise in driving warehouse improvement initiatives 
• Experience working with warehouse management systems
• Strong English communication skill both verbal and written. Additional language will be preferred.
To enjoy the work as Global Warehouse Operations Specialist, you love warehousing. Pure and simple. You have years of experience working in and with warehouses, including goods receiving and putaway, pick & pack, shipping, and related functions. You may have been involved in successfully setting up or restructuring warehouses, and you have a good understanding of WMS. In addition, you have a firm understanding of continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
In this role, you will not be expected to simply fly in for a week, run training workshops, then fly out again. Instead, the focus is on putting in place global standards, metrics, and ways of working to be rolled out in all our warehouses, which in turn will allow our DC managers to achieve industry standards and operational excellence. This challenging role requires taking a step back to focus on the big picture, based on years of experience within the four walls of the warehouse.

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
