Arbetsbeskrivning

Graduate Engineering Scheme
The construction area of our business is delivered through our branch structure across the UK and Europe which allows the project execution to be carried out at a local level ensuring that the exact requirements of our customers are met.
As a graduate in this area of the business you would gain an understanding of the various roles and tasks undertaken on industrial sites while being involved in the delivery of services on site to support maintenance and repair, outages/shutdowns and new build installation and construction, as well as focusing on the long term strategic planning and the development of improved techniques.
Launching your career on our industry recognised graduate programme will not only provide you with an overview of our business but by completing your individual two year placement programme you will also develop the knowledge, skills and competencies in your own field of expertise, while gaining an insight into other disciplines and building a commercial awareness.
As part of an institute accredited scheme we will support you in achieving chartered status in your field, and develop your leadership skills through a recognised supervisory management scheme.
Our construction graduates are based out of the Southern Branch - focusing on business needs in Southern England and Wales, with headquarters in Dartford
Throughout your two year placement programme; there will be a requirement for travel within the branch you are recruited into, as well as further travel across the UK to allow for your training programme to encompass engineering, technology or commercial placements within our main offices at either Crawley or Renfrew. In addition to this there is also the opportunity for you to be involved in an overseas project. On successful completion of the graduate training programme travel will be job dependant within the branch.
We are interested in recruiting graduates with ambition who will demonstrate a professional attitude towards their work, the company and their training and development and who will be able to show initiative and communicate effectively. The minimum entrance requirement for our graduate training programme is a 2:2 degree.
As part of our 2008 graduate recruitment campaign we invite applications from engineering, science and technology graduates who have obtained a qualification in the following disciplines:
Mechanical
Chemical
In return we offer a starting salary of 22,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes performance related salary increases on a 6 monthly basis, lodge/radius allowance, pension, healthcare and discretionary annual bonus.
