Graduate Hardware Modeling and Verification Engineer

Now we are looking for a talented graduate engineer to join our Chip Platforms IP team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In this role, you will develop hardware models used for multiple purposes, for instance, as references for functional verification and in a virtual platform for early software development. The job includes working with architects and designers to understand the hardware blocks you are modelling and the interpretation of functional specifications into accurate and efficient models. Also, you will work with the verification of the hardware blocks we develop, and with the development of our in-house verification tool flow. We will train you in cutting edge techniques for hardware modelling and verification.

Object-oriented architectures and frameworks are a fundamental part of our verification environments. We work with agile methods, and you will be part of a team that collaborates closely to achieve our goals. When you join us, you will be assigned a mentor that ensures that you get up to speed quickly.

Our hardware blocks often implement functionality such as image processing, video compression, and computer vision. As a verification engineer, you will also have the opportunity to learn about the algorithms behind the hardware.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an engineer with an exceptional talent for programming and a genuine interest in learning about hardware modeling and verification. You must have an aptitude for understanding, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems.

Good understanding of computer science in general, and object-oriented programming in particular, is required. An educational background that includes hardware design is an advantage but not required.
